Dining Hall

The Dining Hall is the beating heart of the College’s undergraduate community. As part of the undergraduate meal package, three meals a day are served seven days a week with fruit, tea, and coffee on offer for residents between meal times. Our Postgraduate residents also enjoy an evening meal each week, coming together as a whole community. Welcome

We are proud of the unique and distinctive residential experience Burgmann provides. A supported, vibrant and dynamic residential experience that equips young people with the self-knowledge, interpersonal and intellectual skills that will best serve them to excel academically and make their most valuable contribution to the world.

Burgmann is a community with no hierarchies of residential membership, and residents have a significant say in the running of the College through representation on Board and Council. The Burgmann Residents’ Association provides a voice for Burgmann residents in the running of the College through ongoing communication with the ‘live-in’ Principal, Deputy Principal, and College Dean. No other college in Australia brings 126 Postgraduate students together with its Undergraduate community of 258 residents.

As an affiliated College, Burgmann takes pride in our independence and commitment to partnering with the ANU to help residents make the most of their time at university and to build a strong platform for life beyond graduation.
